A Domco, Inc. started operating in 1971 and was incorporated in 1987 by Durand J.O’Meara out of his drive and dedication to become a leader in the painting and coatings industry. Mr.O’Meara believes in the value of the entrepreneurial spirit and the determination found deep within certain individuals that drive them to success.He has steered Domco toward those companies and individuals that exemplify the same philosophies, and are more apt to appreciate the skill and expertise he demands of his companies.No project is complete until he is satisfied and he is only satisfied when the building projects the quality painting and wall covering that make it the aesthetically pleasing experience the client envisioned from the start.Whether the project is a private residence designed for the most discerning homeowner, or a complex commercial structure housing multiple units or diverse companies, Domco does the job right.

To ensure Domco attains these goals, Mr.O’Meara designed equipment, products and even computer software that are customized for the painting industry.Noting that the market was void of wood stabilization products that could improve the substrate of deteriorated surfaces, he partnered with the manufacturer, Finneran & Haley, to develop a new line of products for the industry. Living his motto of “Attention to Detail”, he has designed and modified equipment to enable the crews at Domco to work more efficiently and deliver a better quality product.He has even applied his entrepreneurial insights to authoring software specifically geared to the accounting and record keeping needs of the painting industry. For Durand O’Meara, each contract awarded to Domco is a new opportunity to demonstrate what makes Domco unique as a leader in the painting and coatings industry.

Mr. Purcell came to A.Domco, Inc. in 2001 to establish the estimating department’s state of the art electronic estimating system.Domco believes that only the most prepared painter can perform the proper job. Mr. Purcell ensures that our painters are fully prepared by customizing his estimates for each stage of the project to ensure that no detail is overlooked.To ensure these details are followed through to the project’s completion, the estimators at Domco are always available to our customers and remain intricately involved throughout the construction process. It was in recognition of this dedication to delivering the highest quality product that led Mr. Purcell’s recent elevation to the position of Vice President of the Commercial Division, where he continues to serve Domco’s customers daily.

Mr. Hilton is our “man in the field” who oversees each job on a daily basis, consistently verifying that our scheduling, supplies and performance are designed to produce the highest quality product our discerning customers expect. Years of experience in all phases of the construction industry have prepared Mr. Hilton for his position at Domco. It is our philosophy that any building is only as good as the combined efforts of all its creators, and we strive to fuse the energies of all participating trades and professionals into one final product. By coordinating with suppliers, builders and other trades, Domco works to bring the job in “On Time and Done Right”.
